Medical Assistant – Podiatry Office
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Wednesday & Friday 1:00 PM – 4:40 PM (hours may increase due to business)
Pay: $17–$18/hour, based on experience
About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a busy podiatry office seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting podiatry providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:

Utilize EMR and iPad systems to manage patient information (no phlebotomy or vitals required)

Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms
-
Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic treatments

Maintain patient files, records, and documentation

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and quality assurance standards

Maintain inventory of supplies and communicate needs to designated personnel
-
Interact professionally and effectively with patients and staff
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a podiatry or specialty practice

Comfortable using EMR systems and iPads for documentation

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work harmoniously with a team and maintain punctuality
