We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Maintenance Person to support a well-maintained, high-end condominium community in Sarasota.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
Compensation: $24–$26/hour, depending on experience
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Person is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and overall condition of a luxury residential community. This role plays a key part in preserving curb appeal, safety, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate presents professionally, communicates well, and takes pride in maintaining a polished environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs throughout the community

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas through routine janitorial tasks

Conduct regular cleaning and basic upkeep of pools and fountains

Perform painting, touch-ups, and cosmetic repairs as needed

Complete minor electrical work, including replacing light fixtures and bulbs

Assist with basic landscaping tasks and minor irrigation repairs

Safely work at heights and operate equipment (including a manlift) once trained

Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally

Utilize an online work order or scheduling system to track tasks

Proactively identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Qualifications:

Reliable personal vehicle

Willingness to be trained on manlift operation

Basic knowledge of building maintenance or construction practices

Some janitorial or custodial experience

Painting experience required

Ability to perform minor electrical tasks

Some experience with landscaping and irrigation preferred

Comfortable using online scheduling or work order systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and work on ladders as needed
